THUMBi is an integrated biometric security payment solution which uses the fingerprint of the thumb to authenticate or pay for transactions and sales. Biometric payment is a point of sale technology that uses biometric authentication thumb fingerprint (unique physical characteristics to verify identity) to identify the user and authorize the deduction of funds (money) from a bank account. Thumb fingerprint payment or authentication through finger scanning to process transactions, payments and sales instead of swiping a card and providing a pin.
